We will also be eternally grateful for all the messages, cards, beautiful flowers and visits received.
Our thanks also extend to Kimberley, Noëline and team at Ian Bendall Funeral Directors - your professionalism and compassion were outstanding at an exceedingly difficult time for our family.
Thank you also to David and Pauline Fulton and staff at the Kings Arms in Castle Douglas for your excellent hospitality - as always.
Robert was surrounded by love but the last few months of his life were challenging and we will never forget all the kindness and assistance given by Dr Oliver and partners and all the other wonderful individuals and teams involved in Robert's care including the dedicated carers from CASS and everyone at DGRI and Castle Douglas Cottage Hospital. We cannot tell you how much we appreciated everything that was done to help as well as all the support kindly given by our wider family, friends and colleagues, past and present, throughout and in many, many ways.
Thank you also to those who gave so generously in Robert's memory. The sum of £800 donated will be shared between Castle Douglas Cottage Hospital and Dr Oliver and partners.
